Acquiring a membership
You can now acquire a membership for the 2019/2020 season to the Leamington & Warwick Supporters Club. All memberships must be registered online. You can pay for your membership (£10 per season) and collection of your 2019/2020 commemorative badge at the next meeting.
This is the process for obtaining a 2019/2020 membership:
Step 1 – Purchase a membership by completing the online form on our website. This will also ask you to enter a username and password which will allow you access to the ‘members only’ sections of the website.
If you have already registered for the website, your registration has been deleted and the information on the membership form will activate a new login.
Step 2 – Pay for the membership (£10) at the meeting on 28 June
Step 3 – Collect your membership badge – which this year commemorates our 100th year in the Football League
Step 4 – Wear your badge to gain entry into club meetings
We need you to acquire a membership online as we need your personal details to satisfy club and police rules, and to confirm that you abide by the club rules.
By joining the Leamington & Warwick CCFC Supporters Club you are agreeing to abide by the following rules:
1. To treat all fellow members and our guests with respect at all times
2. Not to engage in actions which would bring the club into disrepute
2. To focus upon our three core principles:
(i) Support the manager and players of Coventry City FC – this includes creating a closer bond between Leamington & Warwick based supporters and the manager and players
(ii) Arrange social events, including away travel, for Leamington and Warwick based supporters
(iii) Raise funds for local charities and to support initiatives in association with the manager/players at Coventry City FC
Membership can obtained:
- In person by attending a meeting
- Online and payment within 7 days – this will be available in June 2019
You must be a member to attend meetings and to travel to away games with the Supporters Club
Membership is £10 per year, and is valid from the point of purchase to the last game of the current season. In return, you will receive a special edition Supporters Club badge, access to all meetings and away travel (with ticket).
Membership does not allow you to request tickets only. You must travel with the Supporters Club to obtain a match ticket.
Please read the ‘Travel rules and regulations’ before booking away travel – Travel rules and regulations
Any anti-social behaviour – including poor behaviour, bad language and lack of consideration for other members or the coach etc. – will not be tolerated.
Anyone engaging in anti-social behaviour will be prevented from attending meetings and from travelling with the Supporters Club to away matches. This is at the discretion of those running the Supporters Club/away travel and, if appropriate, will also reported to Coventry City Football Club and the Police.
Excessive consumption of alcohol which leads to anti-social behaviour will lead to the removal of membership, and in extreme cases, being escorted off the coach to make alternative travel arrangements. This is at the discretion of those running the Supporters Club/away travel and, if appropriate, will also reported to Coventry City Football Club and the Police.
If anyone requests an under-18 ticket they will not be permitted to consume alcohol on the coach.
MEMBERSHIP TO LWCCFCSC DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ENTITLE YOU TO AWAY TRAVEL/TICKETS (THIS IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FOUNDER MEMBERS OF THE LWCCFCSC
In exceptional circumstances:
Members will be allowed to bring guests to away matches but they must purchase a membership for their guest prior to travel in addition to paying for their away travel & ticket. These individuals who will not have been previously seen at a meeting or away game are the responsibility of the member who requested their booking. If their guests engage in any anti-social behaviour, members will be prevented from attending meetings and from travelling with the Supporters Club to away matches for a period time as determined by those running the Supporters Club.
The length of any bans will be decided by those running the Supporters Club, or, if appropriate, the wider Supporters Club by consensus.
The final decision on all issues, including who can/cannot travel, or join the Supporters Club, will rest with those who founded the reformed Supporters Club, or who organise and run the meetings and away travel.
